The Conservatory is located in the heart of Georgetown, on Wisconsin Avenue between P Street and Q Street NW. The Conservatory occupies the basement floor of a giant stone building called the Georgetown Lutheran Church.
The entrance to the school is in the back of the building. To reach
the entrance, walk briefly down Volta Place NW (a small side street
between P and Q Streets) and look for the large “National
Conservatory of Dramatic Arts” sign (pictured right) behind a black,
cast-iron fence. Once you see the sign, follow the walkway to the
second series of steps on your right. The stairs lead down to a
small outdoor courtyard and you’re at our front door.

The Conservatory is accessible by public transportation. There are three Metro stops within a 15- to 25-minute walk of our studio. (Even closer if you take Metrobus.) The closest stops are:
► Dupont Circle on the Red Line.
► Farragut West on the Blue/Orange Lines.
► Rosslyn on the Blue/Orange Lines.
The quickest combination of Metrorail/Metrobus transit includes the following:
► Take the Metro to Union Station (Red Line), transfer to the Circulator headed to Georgetown, then disembark a half-block from the school at Wisconsin and P Street NW.
► Take the Metro to Farragut West (Orange/Blue Line), transfer to the Circulator headed to Georgetown, then disembark a half-block from the school at Wisconsin and P Street NW (or enjoy a 15-minute walk to school).
► Take the Metro to Dupont Circle (Red Line), transfer to the D-2 bus headed to Georgetown (catch it at the corner of P Street and 20th Street NW), disembark near the front of the school at Wisconsin Avenue and P Street NW (or enjoy a 25-minute walk to school).
► Take the Metro to Rosslyn (Orange/Blue Line), transfer to the Circulator headed to Georgetown, disembark at Wisconsin Avenue and M Street NW, take a 10-minute walk up Wisconsin to the school.
There is plenty of street parking to be found around the Conservatory, as well as underground parking lots at the Georgetown Mall (Wisconsin and M Street) and along the Georgetown waterfront (along K Street).
