Who is the perfect candidate for training at The Conservatory?

• Everyone with a desire to learn, practice and perfect the craft of acting with the intention of acting professionally in theatre, film, television, commercials and more.


• You needn’t have an prior training or experience to train at The Conservatory. About half of our students in any given semester have little or no prior training and no professional (paid) acting experience.  Typically the other half range from folks with a BA in theatre to individuals who have had a few gigs and now realize that in order to truly grow in their profession and be competitive in the market – that they need Training!

     
• You’re never too young or too old!  Individuals who want to train with us must have completed high school (or GED) because the Conservatory is an accredited college for actors.  But the average age of students here is 28 and ranges from 19 – 65 in a typical semester.

Advice for Acting Students who want to Be Actors:

Make sure that what ever school you choose has a verifiable record of achievement. And be sure the reasons for that success make sense to you.  You know as well as we do that no-one can guarantee that you’ll make it as an actor.  But what we can guartantee is that our Conservatory program is designed to prepare you for a career as a professional actor.  Here’s a fact you may find compelling – in our last annual report to our accrediting commission our record showed that over 90% of our graduates go on to paying jobs as actors.
