Conservatory president Ray Ficca
The Conservatory has been training students for careers in acting since 1975. The intensive training we offer can help make your acting dreams a reality.
Graduates of the Conservatory are an essential part of DC area theatre and film community. Alumni have worked at:
In addition to theatre work, NCDA grads have been featured in commercial, film and television work in the DC area, incuding: House of Cards, Veep, Lincoln (Feature Film), the Discovery Channel, The History Channel, ABC, NBC, FOX, The Wire, The West Wing, and countless other projects.
In addition to DC, we have graduates working professionally in Baltimore, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, Cleveland, even Australia and Switzerland. Wherever they end up, graduates become part of a robust network of NCDA grads and faculty that are always willing to lend a hand and help each-other navigate the complex world of professional acting.
